In partnership with Vermont Humanities, the Lincoln Library is excited to host a reading of The Light Pirate by Lily Brooks-Dalton. The book explores themes of resilience, community strength, and the power of the natural world. Free copies are available at the library. The story follows Wanda in a changing coastal Florida town amid rising seas and severe weather, focusing on adaptation, human connection, and wilderness.
The series runs from February to June, partnering with the Lincoln Conservation Commission to discuss climate change, flooding, and preparedness in Lincoln, VT.
Lincoln resident and journalist Jon Mingle will share stories and lessons from two decades of reporting on climate change from the Himalaya to Lincoln, VT.

Exhibit - The Lincoln Historical Society will share an exhibit highlighting the floods of Lincoln and how the community came together to clean up, rebuild and get stronger.
